Striped Bass Charters

Striped Bass Charters begin in May and run through November. Half day Charters on Narragansett Bay are available late Spring and early Summer. Full day charters to Block Island are available during the summer and fall months.   We fish mostly Live Bait with Spinning Reels.  We use state of the art tackle including Shimano, Daiwa, Fin-Nor, and Cabo. We purchase all of our gear from our friends at Quaker Lane Bait & Tackle in North Kingstown.  We do not troll with wire. There is nothing like the thrill of feeling the fish take the live bait, letting him run with it, setting the hook, and feeling and hearing the line peel off the reel.  Sometimes these fish are so big that we have to chase after them to avoid getting spooled.

The 27' Conch is equipped with all new electronics.  The Garmin Chartplotter and Simrad Fishfinder help us get charters on the Striped Bass.  Multiple hook-ups are very common with this dated technology helping to find the fish.

Stripers are in the Bay in great numbers this year.  We are running late afternoon and evening charters for those who would like to get out and join in the action, but have to work during the daytime.  There is nothing like casting a plug and watching one of these stripers grab it.

We also fish for Summer Flounder or Fluke this time of year in Narragansett Bay. There is a 6 fish per person limit.  So if you are looking for a few fresh meals of flounder to take home.......
