Return on Investment
Nobody probably thinks of a fishing charter as having any capabilities of a return on their investment, but read on and see why we believe there is.

First, how often do you actually go to a seafood market to buy fresh striped bass or tuna steaks?    Even if you do so on a rare occasion, you are familiar with the price per pound of these types of fish when they are in season. Usually from $10.99 to $13.99 per pound depending on your location.

Secondly, if you own a chest type freezer (not the self defrosting type) then you know that keeping frozen meats and fish for up to a year is why we have them.  Quality wrapping is essential for keeping food fresh.

So, imagine walking away with 80  pounds of striped bass at $9.99 per pound, retail.  The math works out to $799.00. That is more than you paid for the charter to begin with, and you reap all the rewards also. You get the enjoyment of a trip to Block Island, a day on the water, and the excitement of catching fish.

Fresh tuna steaks are even more expensive. Maybe $13.99 per pound, in season.  Figure 100 pounds at that price. Now you see where we are going with this.
